I began experiencing tremendously debilitating foot pain in early October 2024. I was in absolute agony and at times could not walk or even stand. I was initially misdiagnosed and treated improperly for gout. It was never gout. I first saw Dr. Burakovskiy in late November 2024, then again two weeks after that. Today (December 26, 2024) is my third two week appointment. During my first appointment he spent a lot of time with me, he performed X-Rays which we discussed at length together, he ruled out gout, tested me for neuropathy which I do not have, and treated me with both the SonicWave and laser therapy machines which made an immediate difference. Within five minutes of my first appointment I walking again!! He also prescribed a nerve blocker and a non-steroidal anti inflammatory; both medications have contributed to my ongoing recovery. I have done ballet throughout my entire childhood and for thirty years after that was always very active.
